Of my 1st split of my hatch, 3 out of 5 hatched but one of the chick's was off so I culled that one. I have 2 good one's. All of those egg's were from out of my red NN girl that an Aloha rooster was over her. My 2nd part of my split hatch is due on May 21st.

That's how I'll be doing mine also, but I'll only be moving my lock-down batch into the 2nd incubator because there's less of them to have to move.

Now my incubator is full, and I'll be having a split hatch with 5 due on May 10th, and the rest of them due on May 21st.

It look's like I will have the second batch (2 dozen) of chicken egg's that should be here in the morning to incubate also.

I candled a few of my egg's last night and could faintly see the vein's that are developing in them. I'll candle them all in a couple more day's.

20 day's in route to get to you? That is rediculous! They could have hatched in the time that they took to get them to you, if someone could figure out a way to ship them so that they could do so.

Ok, only 10 Naked Neck egg's in the incubator for my test hatch. That should make the hatch date of May 10th (Mother's Day).

Do you have more egg's so that you can try again?

I'm trying to work out picking up some more hatching egg's over there in Mesa that Sommer told me about. The lady told me she'd let me know when she can do them for me.

More Aloha's?

I don't think that you would have gotten them mixed up, as the FBCM's would have the feathered leg's.

These are the 2 NN Aloha hen's that I'm hoping to do the hatch with. The egg's are a nice size already for it.

I might join you if the Aloha cockerel that I got from Sommer is fertilizing the NN Aloha hen's that I got from another source. I think he's making the mark, but I will have to crack those girl's egg's open to see.
