The little one that hadn't pipped, quit in the night. Beautifully formed baby, but the yolk sac was oddly shaped (looked like a three chambered heart) and didn't look absorbed at all. Other four are still absorbing, wiggling in their shells, and chirping.
I am a little bit of a hands-on hatcher, especially when it's my more rare babies. I'm not debating this, but warning before anyone reads below because I know not everyone will agree with what I did. 🥰
I was getting worried, because I used a new incubator and my Grovee temp/humidity monitor...
Lockdown!!! Airholes are all the way open, machine is bundled to help keep temperature steady, and humidity is set. Now we wait. I have a friend coming to help my older boys keep an eye on humidity and temp tomorrow while I'm at a conference all day. Not sure I'm going to be able to focus 😆

Narragansett Eggs seem to be doing okay. I've got a solid 2, with the 3rd a ?. It's developed but I think it might have quit. Day 14.

Currently have 6 Ayam Cemani eggs (Set 4/12), 3 Narragansett Turkey eggs (Set 4/19), and 3 Chicken eggs (Sapphire Gem, Light Brahma, and Silver Laced...
