Woke up to 14 chicks in the bator this morning and today is hatch day! So excited to get home from work tonight to see if I have anymore.

So I did have some hatch I think I ended up with 18 out of 34 which isn’t great but I’ll take it. I’m going to give the rest of the eggs another day or so. We’ll see. :idunno But here are some of my fluffies!

Locked down 34 eggs tonight. Does anyone else get nervous that none will hatch or is it just me? Also found one of my hens sitting on some eggs today. That’s 2 broodies this week!

I set 54 eggs yesterday! I have barnyard mixes, showgirls, frizzle showgirls, silkies, Java, Cochin and lavender Orpingtons. I put all the eggs I gathered in the last few days. I have a NN rooster in one of my pens so hopefully I get some NN chicks.
