For the hen that won't stay out of the yard. She knows she's not supposed to be in there and runs like heck from under the truck to under the tractor, then a lap around the house and back into the carport where she waits for me to give up and poops on things.
If I ever decide to raise meat chickens, this might be a game-changer...(are you SURE I can't run a moulting, miserable hen through a few rounds just to, you know, help her out with some feather removal?)

This is one of the few TSC items I use fairly regurlarly.
I grab a bag almost every time I go in there, and dump it in wet spots.
Seems to break down well.
(Sarcastically) It's really fun when the contents inside get wet and the whole thing swells up. Now i dump it out before heavy rain!
Have you tried this? Sounds really great but I have never heard of it - I am going to look into it. Seems anything that is not specifically dirt colored is very interesting to my chickens and that's a problem with lime or poultry dust. Thanks for putting this up!
It does make great hardboiled eggs...even easier is "eggloaf" which I do when I am going to be chopping them up anyway, like for egg salad. Probably gonna be some Black Friday deals out on that appliance!
