How would yall go about removing the shadows?

Oh thank you! Yeah it was later in the morning (health problems make me slow). I did a vignette so that's why the grass is blurred...thinking I was helping to reduce the background. I will definitely take these tips into memory as I do next pics! Thank you again!

What options do you use to modify that aspect?

I normally don't edit my pics but wanted to try snapseed and see if I could reduce the background like previously yall said...how does this look? Still too busy? Scrap and get new pic?

I've read the thread on taking better pictures of your chicks...so I've got the sun behind me, I'm down on chicks level, i cleanedthe camera. What else do I need to do?
