Yes, that's Levi my 6 year old CAG. I have a better picture, (actually my fave) on my profile page. It only took Levi about two weeks to start chirping like a baby chicken. 😄 🐥

Image 1 - very well captured.
Image 2 - whites blown out on head.
Image 3 - adorable, love that you caught the cute head tilt of the finch.
Image 4 - change your POV. Instead of looking down on the subject you should try being eye level.

Well, in my experience, it's easier to lighten a dark image than regain detail from blown out white/highlights. If you know how to fix blown out details, I'm all ears.
That being said, when lightening you have to wary of too much grain. Another pet peeve of mine is grainy images. Just sayin ...
