I did have a black roo that also carried it. He unfortunately died a week ago. 2 out of 5 of his chicks were white. The moms were my 3 black hens. I know 1 of my hens carries recessive white, but I don't know if the other ones do.
Oh okay, I guess it's like leakage then. Some of the feathers are completely red while most are white at the base. The white feathers are so fluffy they cover the red ones when he's dry.
I have this silkie boy. I'm 90% sure his mom was paint and dad was buff (came from a mixed color pen. My guess is based off the photos I was sent).
