Some of these creatures, whether they be chickens, dogs, cats, etc... really do get intertwined in our hearts so deeply, it just shreds our hearts when they pass. And we never truly get over them or the loss, the pain only dulls over time. Hugs to all of you that have suffered such loss. :hugs
