Hey you are so right about that is under the N and apparently in the column for Giardia it is is under the N/A , … which is messed up because like I said, I paid extra for the Giardia test. Perhaps that result takes longer maybe they’re going to send me another email? I think I’ll call them...

The beginning of the email they sent me said congratulations all is clear! But I am wondering why there is no X in the gape worm column for Charlie’s sample Charlie is the geese poop sample , but the one named flower, which is my ducks poop sample does have an X in the negative column for gape...

They do, the 30$ kit is just some plastic bags and a form you fill out and on the form you can check off a box to test also for Giardia if you send a check for $30 extra

Besides that I already started giving my ducks safeguard ( after I mailed the samples out ) and the ones that had weird watery white poops have cleared up to a normal duck poop again so I think the safeguard is doing some thing good .

OK I got the results back I sent in two samples one was geese. The other was ducks. The crazy thing is they both came back clear I even spent the extra 30 bucks each test on top of the 30 bucks each test to purchase for the Giardia testing … and result, no Giardia . Weird. I’m starting to think...

Also thank you that’s a great link and it shows that some dogs don’t even have symptoms like my dog hasn’t had any diarrhea, so how would I even know if she had anything? There was another link I read that says some thing like 7% of all dogs in the USA have Giardia.

Fenbendazole ( safeguard/panacur) is still prescribed by veterinarians along with metronidazole . I know because my vet just prescribed both things a few weeks ago. That was the vet that gave me trouble they wanted to fill in house, and I wanted the written prescriptions to order online.

I actually already have that too. I kinda went on a shopping spree last month trying to stock up on anything I might need. I have also already researched giardia and dealt with possible causes however since my birds are not cooped up in a run all day there will always be some wild bird...

we already have all three of the dewormers ( safeguard goat liquid, valbazen, and a small bottle of the aquasol from an eBay seller who buys the big jugs and divided them up into tiny containers . ) my vet is imo evil money hungry negligent vet so I’m switching to a new one who sees poultry too...
