This is the best brooder idea I have seen yet. Mind if I totally copy you? These look metal. Did you cover the metal shelves with anything other than bedding? What did you do for maintenance access?

Positive reinforcement only went so far with my puppy (who is now almost 2). To keep her out of the garden, an invisible fence and a sharp learning curve was necessary. Turned it all the way up after teaching her and it's only taken a few good shocks for her to realize that it beeps first as a...

Stir the contents of that shop vac into your compost. Bat guano is excellent fertilizer (though I'm sure it should be composted first). We buy dried pelleted guano for our garden in a 5 gal bucket.

Our two Olde English Bulldogges have serious food issues. The younger one is the worst. We have to go completely grain free to get her to have solid poo regularily. In fact, we were at one point feeding her a feed that had some corn in it and she broke out in tremendous hives as well. Big...

Nice nest bunny lady. When I took in some rabbits a few years ago, I had no idea they were not properly housed prior and had a surprise while checking on them one November morning - 5 little baby bunnies! I love them at a couple days old when their eyes aren't yet open, but they are so fuzzy...

They are in the prime of their life, all 1 year old nearly to the day - so fertility for us has been high. I was glad not to loose too many this winter (I did loose one d'Uccle mille fleur and one Amaeraucana/Araucana cross and was pretty sad about both). It was a long cold winter. I'll try to...

Thought I'd post this here too, since WI isn't far from the Twin Cities and maybe someone would like to give these rabbits a new home. Anybody interested in taking a couple dwarf domestic rabbits? I took them a few years ago when their last owners found out they weren't allowed to keep them...

Well he sure is pretty. I've seen hatcheries lump a group of breeds together and call them a rainbow, as like a group, but I haven't seen them as a full on breed.

Rainbow isn't really a breed. It's used to describe a flock that is both a "rainbow" in feather and lays a variety of egg colors. I have a "rainbow" bantam project going on at my house. I have blue, cream and pinkish tan layers. I'm crossing several ways to get some crazy variety. They're...

Not sure how far you are from St Paul, but I'm about to sell off a bunch of my year old hens. They are laying like champs, but I'm hatching and need the space. I was going to charge like $15-20 depending on breed. They are all bantams, but I have some that lay eggs that fill out a store large...
