You should research putting anything on there combs for frostbite some say yes more say no. I have 5 barred rocks and did not notice any frostbite on mine, we were -14F 2 mornings in a row. Only 2 are still laying 3 are in a soft molt in which turned there combs pale and smaller, poor girls...

We are at about 10 to12" and still snowing.

Leaf blower won't move it here, snowblower has a hard time with it. :he

I got a 8 point yesterday at 7.30 am hunting the state forest next to us. Thank god I have a deer cart (64 years young), 1/2 mile from home is where I hunt and had buck home hanging in a tree by 10 am.

Snow here in southern Wisconsin, 1st time for the chickens to see snow. They are not liking it.

Nice to see someone else here from whitewater, I had a pigeon land on our driveway in the spring, so I took some bird seed out to it and it was pecking around but getting closer to the road and then it got hit by a dump truck. It to had a bands on its legs.

S.E. Wisconsin here, close to 2 " rain, gonna pick my corn in the next day or so for freezing. Expect to freeze 10 dozen.
