    I've been though this before. Stick with it. They're bound to be just fine. My first eggs were given to a brooding hen. One day she left the eggs for several hours and still ten of the twelve fully developed.

    Thanks for the post. I bought some hatching eggs for my broody hen. Your post helped ease some concerns and answered my questions. However, I wonder if you allow the eggs to stay with the hen at time of hatching. This is going to be my first hatching and I tend to leave nature to do the work.
