One of my Fav chicks from Ideal has scissor beak as well I think they're just one of those breeds (for me) that really needs to come from a breeder. My Orloffs, EEs, and Australorps are all doing really well though.

Ok...im usually the one answering these questions, but Faverolles are new to me! Both of my chicks have a lot of dark feathers. .even coming in on the neck and chest. They ARE from a hatchery, so I dont expect them to be perfect but...I have a feeling I have 2 little boys They're 2 weeks :)

I've seen someone use pictures from a hatchery like Meyer's or My Pet Chicken, and just write a little one line disclaimer, saying that those weren't the actual chicks or parents, but a representation of what the breed generally looks like. Not sure of the legalities.
