Quote: I plan on hatching all of the first eggs from my white project pen, but I am sure I will have some to spare at some point. Mine haven't even thought of starting to lay yet....so it might be a few "minutes". You can pm me or email me through my website, just send me an email with a good...

I don't usually prefer white birds...I love the blues, salmons, colors....but I think I want to try for some pure white favs. They are one of my favorite breeds, I have had them for years as pets and I am excited to finally have some birds to work on. It has been years and thanks to the kind...

This is my white kid from this last year. He is really much prettier in person! I paired him with 2 girls that I call my "snowys"...They are over 50% white so hopefully we will get more whites out of them. I hope we hatch more whites out of my salmons again this year too..... This one was an...

Ameraucanas have slate legs...your girl looks a bit sparse in the leg feathers too....I would venture a guess that she probably has some ameraucana mixed in there. There is someone in my area advertising faverolles and saying that they lay green and blue eggs.... ....I am afraid some folks may...

We just finished the county fair and my daughter got Reserve Overall Best of Show for Alzenheimer one of our Salmon Faverolle roosters! He was 1st, Best of Division and Best Standard. He only lost the top spot to a stunning silkie pullet we gave one of our 4H friends a few months ago. I don't...

Thanks! Most of our birds have names and some of course have stories..... Stinkyweed is one that we hatched in an ancient incubator borrowed from our 4H leader. We had to fill the water tray once a day and hand turn but we had 100% hatch rates so it was awesome. I can't remember why, but I...

I am currently hatching some favs, but I am looking to grow most of these out for myself to check for type and size. I should have some for sale in a few months once I see how they are turning out, if you are interested in waiting a bit. I am located in Hanford, CA. You can check out my...

Here are a couple pics of my first white chick. I have my salmon rooster Weird Altitude (Fresno breeder stock, unknown lines) with Hannah (salmon, Boulanger/Buffington lines), Bonnie (salmon, Donna Causey) and Penny (mahogany, Sandhill). I don't think that Penny was laying yet when I incubated...

I have hatched 9 faverolles chicks this year and so far it looks like 2 are white.....I plan on keeping them. Hopefully they mature out nicely! They are out of Weird Altitude and either one of 2 salmon girls or the mahogany...but I am leaning towards the salmon.

My Favs don't fly well. 4 foot fences aren't too difficult for them, but they are pretty content behind them. I do have a pair that likes to try and roost on the top bar of the garage pen (6 feet) but, alas, when the hay bales are stacked too short for a good jump off point and the ladder isn't...

Quote: The Salmon Favs that I bought from them a couple years ago were pet quality. They were smaller than breeder stock, and I didn't care for the flatter, smaller beards on the males and most of the males seemed to have weak toes. I kept my favorite 2 females, They were smaller but hardy...

Sandi, I had asked for a trade for the mahoganies because they were of value to the right person, with the understanding that they had many flaws. I was totally up front about where they came from and the quality of them. I hesitated to put a price on them because of the flaws so it was better...

These are from Glenn Drowns from Sandhill. I haven't really heard of anyone working with these and I waited 2 years to get them as they weren't available for a while.
