I always have 2 boys together, and there is definitely a dominant roo and they occasionally have a stand off, but they never really get into it. Faverolles were originally bred to be an excellent meat bird, and they are. I know not everyone can eat birds that they raise from chicks...
sianara, She looks like what I've heard called a "dark salmon". To me, it's just a hatchery color. I got some pics of mine finally. These are some beauties I hatched from Cloverleafs stock. They are a little over 4 months old.
They are growing into some very nice birds!
Thanks again, Jeanine!

Would love to know where you found favs, bantam or LF?
Cousin told me about a cattle farmer in south Mo. who was selling out. I bought all of his SF's. They are 8 or 9 month old standards. I got 3 roos & 7 hens. BEAUTIFUL BIRDS!!. I'll get pics on..... when DW can do it for me.
Thank you,
I'll stay away from hatchery stock. Got some attention though, didn't it. I'll contact Melissa. Thanks again!
NEVER MIND...... I FOUND SOME!
Bummer! I may have to start my flock with hatchery Faverolles, & sell "bad blood'"to some unfortunate souls. (did that guilt trip work?) Anyone with pure Salmon Faverolle eggs for sale?
