Anyone here sell chicks and ship. I have had 3 shipments of eggs (assorted breeds and breeders) and of all 3 only 1 egg hatched. I had a 90% hatch rate from my eggs so not a bator problem. Guessing its a PO thing. My daughter is looking for SQ LF Salmon Favs for 4-h birds

My eggs go on lockdown today Not sure what I'll get after the rough handling they had at the PO. So if anyone has eggs and or Ships chicks I might be in the market. I want Favs.

Why should the humidity be different for silkies and LF eggs? and different how?

Just to clarify the post office obviosly disregarded the the multiple FRAGILE stamps all over the box and I in no way hold the sender responsible for the condition of the eggs. Will be setting the remaining 7 eggs tomorrow morning.

Definetely still going to set them. There were extras included so gonna cross my fingers on a good hatch. However I seem to have bad luck with shipped eggs. Last batch (Barnies) only hatched 1 out of ten Hoping these do better.

So if 3 off my shipped eggs are broken what do you think my shot is for hatching the others?
