My hen looks pretty much the same now that she is mature. She really is too beautiful for the free range chicken life. Poor girl is always dirty!

Well maybe someone would want to have my LF white fav hen then? We all love her, but I'd like to help her mate and have cute little white favs however it may work out.

    Faverolles Thread

It's been a while since I've visited, but I'm just throwing another line out to see if anyone has a nice LF white Faverolle rooster. My white hen has turned out lovely even after molting. She's a lovely mother and I want a mate for her! Also, I have fallen in love with my Sussex faverolle...

Let me know if you find any lunar bug... I have a white recessive hen and it seems like finding a mate for her here has been tricky.

Only one broody fav to go...hatching eggs naturally is a lot of work! This lil roo escaped from the nest at 3 days old and i found him stiff in the corner in the morning, thought he was dead, but on the way to the garbage he twitched in my hand that was in my pocket and praying he wasn't really...

Taking feedback on my roo...is he ok for breeding? Not going to be anything more than small homestead flock and 4h.

Haha, it would be easy for me to hijack this thread to talk about my Awassi, so feel free to pm me. They go for 2 grand a piece. I love them. Mine sell before they are even born! Lol, so you'd have to get some from Andy at karras farm in north Carolina.

I really like the idea of buying a big rooster. I only have one good boy as far as type, and he has a smaller comb and body then the others with funky Combs :-( I would also like at least one hen that isn't German dark....but that's just more of a preference thing I suppose. Seems a lot easier...

    Faverolles Thread

My faverolles are only 6 weeks old but they have consistently been in 90-105 degrees for the past month with no problem. Of course they have access to and utilize the shade, but they still forage in and out of the hot sun.
