    I don't have video, but yes, they are loud, and very shrill high pitch end... so yes, not a bird to have in town! The neighbors WILL hear them.

    well it's encouraging to me to hear how winter hardy they can be. They'll need to be to live up here in ND! But Aubrey, at least I got my Christmas wish list done. I want Quail, Silver Quail, and Lavender. He he he... I'm SO looking forward to this spring!

    I know this has been touched on, but just how much cold can a bantam take? I've seen a friend in the past who had an old english game bantam rooster with their layer hens and he did just fine inside an uninsulated coop with no added heat. And he was already an old bird when I got to meet him...

    I'm enjoying all the pictures! And I look forward to having my first d'anvers this next spring! I've always loved the original Quail color. But there's a few colors that Aubrey has that has me thinking I might add a few of those to my order too. Am liking the Millies, BB Reds, and Lavender...
