I've got 15 bantam EEs growing like weeds in the brooder right now. I plan on keeping 4-5 at most, 1 cockerel & 3-4 pullets. Is anyone else interested in bantam EEs? The eggs they came from were a lovely sky blue, definitely more blue than green.
A few EEs I picked up over the weekend, to keep my Chocolate Orp chick company.
This one looks to be blue based Partridge or Wildtype.
& this little one is probably dominant White, so who knows what she will end up looking like???

An EE over a BR will not produce olive egg laying offspring. You need a dark egg layer somewhere in the mix to get olive colored eggs. A Marans, Welsummer or Penedesenca would work though.

All offspring from a Splash rooster over Black hens will result in 100% Blue chicks.
There will be no Lavender chicks from this pairing, as the Lav gene is completely different gene from Andalusian Blue.

The chicks pictured on that website are of pure Ameraucanas, not Easter Eggers. You might find chicks that resemble those pictured on the website but they are by no means Ameraucana, there is also no guarantee that they will mature and feather out the same color as their down.
