It is just the 1 EE. I took the oyster shell out of their pen yesterday and gonna just give the egg shells to the ducks for now, they love em. Victoria has had fine large eggs for months and this has been going on for over a month if not close to 2, so I would like to figure it out. We'll see if...
Ok, I had to look up sandpaper eggs and ya the pics are pretty close. The pimpled eggs looked exactly like mine, both egg shells are the same. Opposite of what I thought, it is axcess calcium. Which i do keep oyster shell and egg shell out there all the time and she free ranges. I'm gonna try...
I have 1 of my EE hens laying an egg with tiny clusters of little bumps all over it. I looked the picture up and everything points to not enough calcium, I put out oyster shell and crushed, cooked egg shells. I thought it would just correct itself, but were going on 2 mos now and it's not. We...
I think it was also. Fuzzybutt gave me some good ideas of having a bucket of water with me to dunk them in and maybe some buttermilk. Hard way to learn though Thank you

Yes, they are wyandottes. I always get my birds mixed up, lol. Kinda glad he's a rooster though, I think even though very different breeds, all their colors are great together. Him and his 4 gals seem to stay together everywhere.
My EE who is almost 15wks now. He/she has made no attempt to crow, even with another crowing rooster here, so back to wondering if there's a chance it's a pullet. I love the colors he/she is getting.
Streeeeetch!!
Green tail feathers starting to come in, look so cool in the sun
If he is a he...
My son's EE is now 6 weeks old and i'm loving the colors coming in, he almost reminds me of a lil slick hawk. He also goes great with the light Brahma's. Still can't tell if hen or roo yet though, but it won't matter either way, it's a keeper.
