Haha. Must be an EE thing? I have numerous pictures of them doing this. Here's another one, but this time Opal decided to sit on Tulip. I love my EEs. They are characters! Wait, so did your EE lay an egg on top of the other one?
My bantam girls. When they go broody, (very frequently!) they like to sit on each other since they're not getting any eggs to hatch. :) The one on top is Tulip, and the poor hen poking out from under her is Opal.

Some feed stores let you take what you want, others are annoying and the attendants will pick them out. You can tell the workers which ones you want, but they aren't always too happy to do so.
They second hen looks just like my old bantam EE. The only difference was that my EE has gold markings in her neck and gold diamonds on her chest. She is pretty!
My other bantam EE just started laying today. Unfortunately, it was not blue, but I think I may have an olive egg here. What do you all think?
Here is my other EE's blue/green egg:
It depends on the bird. I have two bantam EEs. One has a small, yet neat, black beard. It is not big, but has a perfect little shape! My other EE however, has this fluffy blue and cream beard, with big muffs. My dad calls her "fluffy face". Some have muffs, some don't. Some have big beards, some...
