These are my part-Cochin chicks at 3 1/2 weeks. Stonefrost, male 1/2 Cochin 1/2 brahma, he has a pea comb. Icewing, female, 3/4 Cochin 1/4 brahma, single comb.

Three days is way too young to sex them, I think you should know for sure in 1-3 months

Yes I have noticed some of the different colors are bigger/ mature faster than others. If need help telling which are boys and girls send pictures.

I am having trouble sexing my six week old Cochins too, but I'd say pullet.

Thanks, I think it might be pinking up, early maturing pullet? Or late maturing cockerel? I've noticed the boys are more muscular too, this one seems to be muscular

I got Cochin bantam chicks yesterday! I feather sexed them (even though it won't be accurate because it doesn't work on bantams) so we will see how they turn out! I'm sure I will be posting pics in about 3 weeks :) :weee :celebrate :ya
