Archie will not breed..... But i have an awesome incubator and a room to grow out in, so all shoul be good...

I don't post too much, not had too much luck with my SFH chicks, of the 15 I am left with 2 males and 3 hens. 1 male - Archie - is able to move around but does not walk well. The others are fine and fully grown. They take care of Archie like brothers and sisters do..... Well one of the sisters...

So, everyone I don't post here too often but here is my offering of the week/month: I think 3 of the 9 are male

So, out of my last batch of eggs - 15 - I got 4 hatched on day 23..... This gives me a total of 16 chicks, with only 1 crested, and that is very distinctive indeed..... Here are the new babies:

Does anyone here use an excel spreadsheet to follow breeding programs to avoid interbreeding? If so, can i get a copy?

To all of you hardened SFH owners, can anyone tell me the approximate number of eggs I can expect once my hens reach maturity. I understand they are prolific layers, even in winter, true?
