Joy, I love the way you name your chickens! The O's and the P's-- you are so much fun. When were you sending the girls to me, I can't remember...
Your babies are just about getting into the "fugly" stage and I will get some pictures. When they look like that I...
Hi Bama,
I took some updated pics of your babies who aren't babies. They are beautiful. I have one other Black and he is a little smaller but a mini me of the one I posted pics of and then another blue roo who is younger. I just didn't have time to take any more pics today. It is difficult to...
Ah, thanks Beth! I just haven't been able to figure out why it was like that and them still so healthy. However "tearing around" is putting it mildly.
I like to reference certain breeds with certain characteristics such as Delaware and the way they are so funny and silly when they are young...
Any input on the runny poop?
You can see it in a few pictures although most of the pictures don't have the runny stuff. They all seem healthy, but who knows what the air brings in or me for that matter. Sheesh, now I am worried.
Should I give them Corid as a preventative? I hate to wait...
Thanks Bill I will see if my computer will allow it, it gets weird with youtube.
I took pictures of the babies and they are still fast as lightening. I have to recharge the camera so that it will download for me.
The one thing I did notice while I was taking pictures is that some of their poop...
Hi Joy! Yes, I need to get some more pictures. I want to be able to remember what they looked like as they develop. It's too easy to forget.
I will try to get some up today or tomorrow
Beth, they are adorable! I am not even going to try to guess other than to say at least one black is a girl and that one blue is sure a boy! You're right about the legs, LOL What a boy!!!!
Mine are still little fluff balls. I can't wait until they hit the fugly stage. I love the way they...
It will. I try to look at the overall--feathering, comb, wattle and I find foot size to be a factor too.
#2 has little feet, no comb or wattle. But then there is the slow feathering. Please keep us update on this chick Cheryl.
Cheryl they are pretty chicks. I am not an expert so I figured I'd better just wait and read what the real experts say. But I think the little girl with white is precious.

Joy, I was just joking about the finger drumming LOL I was hurrying as fast as I could because I wanted to let you see them and knew it was getting late where you live.
As for being satisfied, they are more than I had ever expected and I am very, very happy!
I just went and checked...

Hippichick, that is so right! They were all over the place, I was amazed at how strong and active they are. I was really scrambling and they were running, not walking, all over the place.
They are actually more vigorous than many of the chicks I hatch out at home! And they came all...

LOL Beth! I was going deaf with Joy's finger drumming and wanted to get the pictures up quick. I did realize after posting that I forgot to give the count and the colors. So... how many do you think? You have to scroll down to see the answer--but guess first...
So, here I am trying to get pictures to show off and brag, yes BRAG because my babies are the cutest babies ever hatched--oh yeah they are!!
And do these chicks cooperate? Are they mild mannered and all shook up from the trip?? NO, oh no they are not!
They would not hold still and were...
Beth they are adorable! Number 4 is a girl! I think the rest are roos, but I could be wrong. You had me laughing about the hubbys look out of the corner of his eye. Too funny. I know that look.
