Anyone have the Gold Laced Orps imported by Greenfire? I confess - I've been drooling over them. Trying to decide if I should get them or not. I'm concerned with all the fluff, fertility might be an issue for breeding?

Yes, she is most definitely a swan now. I don't breed the Orps, I just have 2 girls for my own eye candy.

Yup, that's the Ostrich! She decided to prove you all wrong when you called her ugly. Yes, this is 1 of the girls I got from you - the other one is molting right now, so I did not get pictures of her.

The other one is thinner than normal, but nowhere near what my "ostrich" girl was. Folks - let's keep the differences between the UK Standard and US Standard out of this thread. This thread pertains to the English type ONLY. If you wish to find information on American Orps, there's another thread for them. Thank you.

Tuffoldhen asked me to post pictures on my slow feathering girl. Cheryl hatched some from Tuffoldhen's flock, and I was gifted 2 50% English Orps from her. At the time, the ugly ostrich was thought to be a boy - but it ended up she was just a really slow feathering girl. This first picture...
