Thank you everyone for your input on the feed, I usually keep my birds on grower till I see eggs also. Guess I'll take them off the med kind and let them grow for a while. I'll have to see what the flockraiser is also. I have over a acre that they will be able to free range on when I move them...
What age do you all change over to layer for your birds. I have one group that are 4 month old and the other group are 3 1/2 months ( most of them are on there way out)
That is true, they dont live here any more. When we first moved out here thought all the country folks would be nice/ NOPE not true.. They went to live in the city.
I had a neighbor tell us day later that oh did you see that little goat that was in the hot wire we watched it for hours it was really funny I was gone and my oldest son came home to see her. It was so sad she made it but she was really hurt. ( I couldnt say anything to them I was way to mad!)
You need to call the post office and ask them each place they would have stoped at, than ( really they should call) than call each place ask to talk to the manager or the head of the building. Do they have a number for the box they are in? Im so sorry...

So my husband told me last night I cant keep all 27 chickens till they grow out. I have some that are 3 months old and the others are 2 months old. What should I look for in them. Any help would be great..

Oh have a question yesterday was the first day they got to run in the yard and today I noticed one of my hens can walk but is having a hard time...
So was out looking at my kids and saw one has feathers on the legs, yes they are 100% English so do I keep her ? My friend said no send her down the road.
