Some of you may remember about 5 or 6 months ago I was so disappointed in this guy I was ready to give him away.
I had no experience with a young roo...Our old roo had done all of the training. Anyway, he hurt the girls, made them scream
It was awful.I received a lot of help from this thread...
For sure.My rooster that I was ready to give to the first person that would take him at 5 months,
has turned into a real gentleman and is coming out of his first molt much nicer ............He is close to a year now.............
Some just seem to take some time. Also have a pullet that I was...

Some of you may remember my disappointment with the Blue Roo cockerel I purchased.
You gave me education and encouragement about him....He is just coming out of his first molt
and has calmed down.no longer tearing up the hens...I'll...
I am fond of the lighter blue...... but the lacing is not pronounced like it is on the dark blues.......
The splash cockerel is a mix. The black is English also but the pic does not do her credit............
The long legs belong to DH who loves to sit in his lawn chair and nap with our oldest...
Got a few more pic's of my blue pullet. She is almost 6 months..........
It is OK to mention her weak points. I have learned enough here to identify some for myself............
But I never let her know she is anything but perfect..............(

My thoughts this morning are that I can understand the importance of giving the English time to mature.........
I have two black 100% pullets that I have viewed with...
