I just got my shipment of BBS Orpingtons from Heirloom Orpingtons AKA Hardin Poultry yesterday. Fortunately, they all made the trip from TN to CA and are happy and healthy. Thank you Holly & Jonathan for the beautiful and healthy chicks!

It is shocking that people think they can steal other peoples pictures and pass them off as their own. I've found photos of my birds on Ebay before, it is infuriating

Yeah, I wondered about that. Guess its time for more One Bite. I just thought is so weird that they are cut straight across. It is hard to see in the photo but the wings also have the same issue. I though mice would make the feather more shredded looking but perhaps the brittleness make...

I wonder if I could get some feedback. My lavender hen has shafting in her main tail. Is this common in lavenders? None of my other girls ever had it. Also, I am not sure what is going on with her tail and wings. It looks like the feathers have been cut off with a pair of scissors. I...

Thought I would post some updated photos of my pullets. I posted photos of them when they were younger. Now they are between 5-7 months. Love this picture which shows a 50% english girl with 100% english girl

Splash is definitely roo. Black still looks like a pullet.
