    I notice they get pasty butt when stressed. So shipping, too hot and too cold can cause it. I put organic ACV in the waterer and it seems to help. I haven't noticed it by breed, though some breeds seem more hardy than others.

    On the positive side, if he did decide to jump a chicken over a boot, you wouldn't have to worry about fertility. Scott - give her the 1/2 cooked eggs. Chickens can't tell time, so it will make no difference to her.
