fowlman01...would you please put into words and explain/clarify the difference between barred and cuckoo? I can visually tell the difference in the 2 varieties in my flocks, but it's very hard to find the right words to explain it to other folks.

No, Orloffs are no longer in the standard. I breed according to the WAY OLD standard that was given to me by a fellow breeder. I don't know if they're considered heritage or not...I initially got them because ALBC lists them as critically endangered and authentic ones are very hard to come by.
