    Chris, that is what I used the first day because I did not have any electrolytes. It obviously worked great because my weak chick was better before I even got the electrolytes. I would not use it long term if it contains sugar, but otherwise I would think it would work in a pinch. Marie

    I would keep doing what you are doing. Did you get some electrolytes? I think that would be better than sugar water. And adding the feed like you are is a great idea. You could try to use a damp warm cloth to soften up some of the dry egg stuff on the chick but be careful not to chill it too...
