Me again! Finally got around to posting pics of my new Basque babies. The last one finally made it out of it's shell a day later than the rest, but it is doing well despite it's long struggle. Here they all are:

Good point! I hadn't thought about that. I once got eggs from Utah, and not a single one hatched, so I guess I was being careful. I'm thinking that I might wait till next Spring, as I did just add two Buckeys and and Orloff to my flock. I'll think on it and decide by next week when I get back...
I am facinated by this beautiful breed! I am thinking about firing up the incubator around the end of April. Would anyone (not too far from Florida) have eggs available then? Hopefully it won't be too hot yet to ship eggs, but it's hard to tell.
