x 2! Its a wonderful thought, and so true for our special birdies everywhere!
Nambroth, thanks for the videos! Coho sounds like she's purring when you pet her!
Another lurker here!
Yes, Nambroth, your stories about your flock are absolutely wonderful, and us, your loyal fans, will remain in wait! I'm sure we all would love to hear about Derp's adventures in the winter!
Sheesh! Calm down. Give Nambroth time to relax and feed her feather-kids.
Maybe if we're good and patient, she'll make us all Derp plushies.
(That would be a lot of plushies.... sorry to get their hopes up Nambroth!)
Hmm, I'll guess 8 times in the "Broody Buster" (Love the name, by the way!).
And because it's Derp, I'll guess it took her 2 days to break for the last time.
Why 2 days? I imagine Derp may have been sitting in the Broody Buster, and forgot what she was doing, and wanted to go say hi to Grill.
Oh! I want to start the trivia game with another question! Please pardon my impudence for just jumping in....
Okay, here's the question:
On a dark and stormy night, one chicken was inside while the rest were snuggled up warmly in the coop.
Which chicken was it, and what fun thing was the...
Hmm, I wonder if Nambroth could let Derp be a broody mama? Would she make a great mama hen to some chicks? Imagine Derperella with a cute little Derpling peeking out from under her!
Nambroth, since you don't have a rooster currently, you could find some hatching eggs. Trust me, fuzzy chicks...
Oh no! Derp is a Super-Broody! Well, not too suprising, actually....
Glad to hear back you, Nambroth! I'm sorry this year isn't going too wonderfully, and that you've been soo busy. I would love to buy one of your paintings, because they are so beautiful and unique, but I'm sorry I'm so poor...
What an interesting thread this is! Everything is still centered around Derp and all her glory, but now we have a hatch being set, a chick that needed love, and a discussion on the antibacterial properties of honey. This is why I love this thread!
What would Derp do with honey?
Stare at it...
That picture of Coho and Derp trying to snuggle is adorable! I had a rooster who would stick his head in pockets- trying to get food or course, not because he loved me....
I think a video of Derp being blow-dried is called for! You know, to make everyone's week better. Even if it means giving Derp another bath, I'm sure she won't mind!
I have just spent far too long reading this entire thread. I have enjoyed every moment of it! Derp is delightfully derpy, and I would just love to appear in your coop, hug her, then run away laughing! I'm totally subscribing!
