Hi KK - I've owned white peafowl in the past, but currently I only have India Blues. I have a contact in Oklahoma, who gets a ton of eggs for me, whatever kind I want. I hatched my peacock (above), and one of my peahens from eggs she got for me. If you like I can try and get...

All the eggs will be mixed, minus the Seramas. All my LF's are still together, we just finished the chainlink fence that we;ve been working on forever. Now to start making pens inside the fence. *sigh* ~ Aspen

I'm so sorry about your losses DM! That is awful. I had to bring my remaining Button Quail indoors, along with 4 Guinea keets that a momma turned up with. The weather has been pretty hot here (85-95) here, but it usually gets pretty cool at night. ~ Aspen

While we're talking about 1588's and GQF. I bought a 1588 Genesis HB last year, it worked great and I've had the best hatch rates in it. However, I tried to fire it up several wks ago and it would spike all over the place! What on earth? It's never done that. I looked up in the fan and it looks...

Ah, okay. Didn't think about that. In the case I'll boil them all up and feed them to the Guineas, who aren't laying anyway, so won't have to worry about eating their eggs. : ) Thanks ~ Aspen DMRippy - Do you have Guineas? I'm down to 20 something Guineas I think, instead of the 45 I did...

Yes, not going to eat them. Would it be okay to boil them and feed them back to the girls for extra protein? I sell a TON of keets every year. Last year I only had a trio of Guineas, so had to have about 400+ eggs shipped in from a girlfriend in Oklahoma who had a bunch, and she also bought...

I am using Wazine in their drinking water, and I'm also giving them some pellet food that has wormer in it as well. Not sure what is in it. I have a few Basque eggs saved up from before I wormed them, so I might try those and a couple from the last few days. ~ Aspen

I'll be fireing up my 1588 Genesis Hova-Bator this week. I'm getting some Euskal Oiloa eggs, and possibly some Guineas. It's going to be weird just having the tiny incubator going, stead of the three Sportsmans! LOL I lost one of my Gorgeous EO hens, so that leaves me with two hens and 4...
