The yolk was probably broken/scrambeled b4 you even set them. Thats my guess.

I can never see anything when my chicks are about to hatch because they fill the egg...its dark and a light air cell. I wouldn't open one. It might just be growing faster. There is no reason to before day 21 and probably Day 23 or 24
