I shipped a rooster from Georgia to Pennsylvania via the mail with no problems. Just take to post office just before they ship,so he doesn't sit there all day.

I hatched mine last spring,my roosters look just like yours except comb and waddles. We are up in northern Pennsylvania, our combs are a forth the size of yours. A big comb will freeze off in January up here.
