    my first broody rhodebar has been an excellent mother so far. she sat tight on 11 eggs for 23 days hatching all but 3 and 1 died. she only got off eggs a few times. our second broody rhodebar has been sitting tight on 12 eggs a little over a day now.

    BROODY RHODEBARS anyone have any rhodebars go broody ?? I have one that just hatched 4+ chicks and another that I just put over 12 eggs. that's 2 out of my 5 original pullets . just wondering if anyone else has experienced this ??

    here are some of our recently hatched rhodebar chicks. all the pullets have eyeliner. even some cockerls show a little. the chick on the left in bottom 2 photos is a cockerl.
