    Hardware cloth in 1/2" squares. I bought mine from www.wayfair.com. It was a much better price than I could find locally.

    I am in the process of building a run for my roosters and intend to use posts, wood and wire to cover the top. I tried netting, but it was more trouble than it was worth. Some people attach electrical conduit or PVC pipes to the fence posts and curve them over to the posts on the other side...
