I have just lost 9 of my chickens to foxes including my roosters. I plan on bringing the ones that survived back to my suburban yard until we fix the main coop but I'm worried about transporting one of my hens that's broody and sitting on about 6 eggs.

I'm in Perth WA and lost my BPR hen last night after spending months trying to medicate her for vent gleet.
Just wondering if anyone knows a breeder of Plymouth Rocks as we currently have a lonely BPR rooster (they were quite a close pair).
What was wrong with your poor chick? It looks very similar to a problem I'm having with my Silkie. Vet said it could be viral and gave me meds but the eye is still completely scabbed over. (Have been medicating since Tuesday).
