I just discovered the Indiana BYC site on Facebook! If you have FB and get a second, I posted (slightly blurry) photos of my sons 5 SLW's. First pic is the straight comb possible roo!

We already see a RED comb and some major chest bumping out of him!! We'll keep him until we're 100% sure! We are LOVING this breed already!

I got 5 straight run SLW and one has a single comb. Bought them from the local Rural King (Cackle Hatchery is their supplier) We believe of is a roo so we'll most likely rehome him once he's older to someone who wants him as a pet. Son can't show him at 4-H :-(

At what age will the sex of the chick start becoming apparent in SLW? I have 5 that are about 17 days old (give or take a day or so either way).
