I'm afraid to say that your hen is definitely not 100% Silver Laced Wyandotte - theres a mix going on here. Have you checked her for mites? Near her vent is a good place to start? Could she be stressed? Have you seen her pecking her feathers or over grooming? Is there a Rooster running...

yes they are only fed layers pellets and rolled barley with some supplements and oils. But these birds are also washed for shows - any washing tips for white birds?
Hey guys this is one of my Silver Laced Wyandotte Hens - shes 1.5 years old. Done quite well at shows to date.
But really need to know if there are any tricks at getting her snow white like some of her other show competition. There are clearly some tricks I do not yet know. I'm new to showing...
