Agree on Plexiglas but if you search maybe you could find a couple old refrigerators with glass shelves or the old fashion council TVs with a protective glass front. I am hoping that the water stays thawed from the heat of the manure. But in any case I will change the water every morning thawed...

Having them build a nest under the seat of the out house wasn't much fun except when the neighbor girls were the first to find out. Drawer around their ankles and falling out the door. What a site. WOOHOO

OK that gives me more to think about. I'll add some piping coming out of the manure to release gases and check on getting a methane meter to measure it. Thanks for that thought. People helping people how wonderful is this world of ours. Any other thoughts to make this better are welcome.

Hope I put a good enough mental image to it. And if a guy had the resources could do it for free. don't...

From what Ive read in this thread if he is the only one with a problem it is not a flock problem but is his problem. So the choice is saughter him now or pen him separate fatten and slaughter later. The other two unless they start picking on someone else it is not there fault. Maybe one of the...

OMG they wrote 21 pages on how to boil an egg. Round here you know how to do it when you are 5 years old. When we see someone do something really stupid we say "Dude you see that they probably can't even boil an egg." But we don't actually think it's true. Well now I know.
