I have her wrapped in a blanket, chilling with me on the sofa, she seems ok, I hope she passes this soon, it might be a soft egg, it keeps changing shape
I've been soaking her, doesn't seem to be helping, the egg seems misshapen. Im really worried because this is her first ever egg, will she not want to lay ever again after this ordeal?
5/6 of my chickens are bantams and she is friendly with all except one of the Roos, would that be stressful? The only non bantam is her adopted sister, a jersey giant, and they are very close
I just gave her some oyster shells. She should have had enough but I gave her choice of it anyway, the egg feels hard and is yo-yoing between near her vent and near her ribs, I will also mention that she is very skittish with me and the other hens.
Sorry to post this here but this is really active so... I'm sorry... My bantam austrolorp (however you spell that) has an egg that she's had ready to lay since yesterday and still won't ( noticed it during a routine mite/vent check) is she egg bound? Should I massage it out? Should I soak her...
