    Yes, great point! The chart needs to be pantone printed. Unless you calibrate the monitor the colors will not match.This is a problem with egg color too but even worse since the camera also messes up the colors.

    Yes, I have seen this since I work at UCD in the English Department. There is a lot of photocopying and PDF creation justified by Fair Use here.

    They have probably been crossed with Leghorns--feather sexing is possible then.

    Yes, the black came in splotchy after they molted too. They do have a green sheen--Purple is bad for BAs. These are Cackle BAs and are now where near SQ.

    They probably do not pull the color from the legs. The pigment is not available for coloring the legs. It seems like this would be a case on needing better nutrition, not something to be "expected". If the egg yolks are not a dark yellow on white legged chickens I would look into getting them...
