    I work with an animal rescue and people are always dumping their dogs on someone else for some reason or another (moving to no animal land, sudden allergies after 10 years, having a baby, etc) chickens are no less important than a dog so that is my reasoning and my opinion as they get scared...

    Giving away to me is the same as dumping. I would never dump an animal. I have a friend who is going to take him. When I take responsibility for a animal its mine always. I felt guilty not wanting the little guy. He is so darn cute. Thanks for the advice!

    The hatchery just confirmed it is an Araucana Roo. Thanks for your help. Im not happy and now I don't know what to do. I can only have one roo where I live. Im not the type to just dump my birds.

    The feed store did give me 2 EEs and they had my Brahmas. Made the switch and very happy. Still curious about my roo. I do not think he is a Brahma we shall see what he is in several months I guess! Lol I'm calling him Dexter

    Do all brahma chick's have feathers on their feet and legs when hatched? I ordered dark, light and buff brahmas and only 1 has feathers on her legs. I also ordered a light brahma roo and he looks like a lighter chipmunk color and no feathers. I'm convinced I did not get the correct chicks. I...
