    Here are some of my golds, and my gold partridge rooster. My chicks came from a neighbor who has blue partridge birds . I am excited to see what lovely roosters and hens I get from my wee ones.

    Honestly it is a crap shoot. Usually the gold are darkest, the blues are medium coloring, and the splashes are quite light, and easy to tell. However, I have had chicks I thought were blue that were actually gold.

    Here are my new babies. So excited to see what I have. The dark ones are blue partridge, and the lighter ones are Red Pyle. I think I might even have a Blue Silver. Always enjoy the wee ones. Spring is so much fun.
