Hard to tell, can you get a picture of the comb / face from the front? Looks more like a cockerel stance and those hackle feathers look quite long, and are those wattles as big as they look?
The feed I have access to is made by Cargill, and unbelievably works out about $38 per #50 - that's what so many people here just feed corn and free range.
Hi sroy there's a sweet picture of a rooster just a few posts back from yours, he's standing beside something 19 inches high. Roosters can get to 2 foot tall, hens maybe 18 inches, roosters can weigh over 12 pounds, hens 9. Big ol' birds :)
