I have brinsea mini advance and its full of silkie eggs.
In the manual it says to fill half water until lockdown where u then fill it to the brim.
I've then been told to do this but also fill both halves at 10 days remaining.
Which is best?

This is my very first incubator, I have the Brinsea Mini Advance and it SEEMS to be absolutely perfect. Though I'm curious how accurate the built in thermometer is? I added a second one and it was about 2 degrees difference and I've read that just a degree off can ruin your chicks so it scares...
Wow really, outside?? That's awesome! If temps can vary that much then I won't be so worried. Just all the reading I've done you start to hear these horror stories and getting super worried for a first timer. I'd really like to know your results once they have hatched!
Can I hatch eggs?? I just obtained a brand new Brinsea Mini Advance Hatching Egg Incubator but I worry because my house doesn't have a thermostat or anything. I just have a window AC that I manually turn on and off. Wouldn't that make the temp in my house too off for incubating? It really does...
