    Depends where you get them from. My bantams from John Sullivan did good no matter the weather. The LF from Wisconsin suffer from heat and are more prone to frostbite. Somehow one froze off his shrimpy wattles. But John also has very healthy birds, and bantams are generally better at handling...

    He was about six months then. So seven now. I haven't weighed him yet though. (I found a better one now. The other one just didn't look good for pictures because the tail feathers were still growing in.)

    How do you think this cockerel is turning out? :) He might turn out small though, and his eyes aren't quite the color they need to be. That could just be the camera.

    Yes a Buckeye cockerel. He has the male feathers already, the comb and wattles won't get much larger than that.
