I found it, it is called false garlic, it used to be classified as a lilly but has been reclassified as in the amaryllis family. No onion or garlic scent, has a bulb type root system.
these are tiny spring flowers no bigger then a finger nail, I hate the first mow of the season when these are blanketing my yard (I would call it a lawn, but it is sooooo far from lawn)
